What is an Electric Control Cabinet?
The Electric Control Cabinet is composed of the internal frequency converter plus the external control, protection, display and other electrical components and cabinet, which is an AC driving device and energy-saving device for frequency conversion speed control of three-phase AC motor (including fan and pump).
Function of Electric Control Cabinet
1.Power switching and protection
The low pressure plastic-case circuit breaker is arranged in the inverter cabinet to connect with the incoming power supply, which can not only complete the connecting and breaking circuit, but also protect the short circuit and overload of the circuit and frequency converter. The power supply can be cut off during maintenance.
2.Start and stop control function
Frequency conversion cabinet panel is provided with frequency conversion start, frequency conversion stop button, which is used for the operation control of frequency conversion device, easy to operate on site.
3.Frequency (speed) adjustment
The frequency adjusting potentiometer is set on the face board of the inverter cabinet, which can easily adjust the output frequency of the inverter manually to control the motor speed.
4.Header display
Voltmeter, ammeter, frequency meter and various indicators such as power supply indicator, alarm indicator, operation indicator, power frequency indicator are set on the inverter panel to realize the monitoring of input voltage, output current, output frequency and various working conditions of the inverter.
5.Standby power frequency switchover
The user can choose the inverter cabinet with a standby power frequency switch. When the inverter fails, the motor can be switched to the power frequency power supply through the automatic control loop (manual/automatic can be selected in this way, and the power frequency starting device is greater than 15KW with a soft starter).
6.Multiple control functions
A variety of control buttons and indicators can be set on the inverter panel according to the system conditions, such as forward rotation, reverse, motor growth, motor deceleration, point forward rotation, point reversal, manual/automatic, emergency stop, frequency conversion/power frequency, PLC control, touch screen, etc.
7.Add peripherals
According to the needs of working conditions can be installed in the inverter cabinet AC input reactor, output reactor, DC reactor and EMI filter, brake unit, brake resistor, contactor, intermediate relay, thermal relay, programmable controller (PLC), programmable operating terminal (GOT), kilowatt-hour meter, cooling fan, etc.
8.Safety protection
The frequency converter installed in the inverter cabinet can reduce environmental pollution, reduce the risk of electric shock, and play a better protective role.
9.Neat and beautiful
